JayZ and Jack Dorsey are launching a crypto academy

Rapper Jay-Z and Block CEO Jack Dorsey are creating a “Bitcoin Academy” in their hometown of Brooklyn. “The simple goal is to provide people tools to build independence for themselves and then the community around them.”. Classes will be online and in a real classroom in the Marcy Houses neighborhood of Brooklyn. Learning sessions are scheduled to begin at the end of June, and classes will be free to anyone willing to attend. They’ll start with simple subjects: the concept of money, the idea of blockchain, and so on.
