Following the all-time high (ATH) recorded in May, Ethereum’s hashrate has been breaking records again, as it reached 132 petahash per second (PH/s) on Saturday, June 4. Record highs are coming this year as the merger approaches and the network will be fully migrated to the proof-of-stake (PoS) blockchain consensus. Once the transition is complete, the 78 mining pools allocating hash power to the Ethereum chain will have to mine another network.
